Pickup trucks are great choices for many reasons in Clifton Park. At the top of the market is the new Ram 1500, one of America's most lauded vehicles. With its high towing and hauling capabilities and excellent plush cabin, the Ram 1500 can put a smile on anyone's face. But how do the 2025 and 2026 models differ? Read on to find out.
What's Different?
There are a handful of changes to the 2026 Ram 1500. First and most notable, the Hemi engine returns. After many vocal fans were disappointed with the decision to remove the Hemi engine from the lineup, the Ram brand is now bringing it back. It still makes the famed 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque from a 5.7-liter V8. The Hemi V8 will be available in the Tradesman, Express, Warlock, Big Horn, Lone Star, and Laramie trims.
Also new is the Express trim, which offers blacked-out bezels and a dark gray interior trim, among other styling. Bouncing off that, a new Black Express appearance package is new and features black cloth bucket seats, black 20-inch wheels, a Sport hood, and black exterior badging, among other things.
What's the Same?
Besides those changes, everything else remains the same in the Ram 1500. The Hurricane engine, which can produce either 420 or 540 horsepower, remains available. 11,580 pounds of towing capacity is also available, giving you the means to tackle any towing needs around Albany.
